I LOVE MY BLACK BJORK

Okay - I hate it when people say this person is the "black version" or "white version" or "latin version" or "indian version" or "asian version" of _________ . Its just a stupid way of pigeonholing people and race...

But I knew a lot of you (all 2 of you who are probably reading this - one of them being myself) wouldn't read this unless you saw something like the "Black Bjork" in big bold caps...which I don't believe Georgia Anne Muldrow is. She makes a little more sense. Nothing against you Bjork, I thought the swan dress was dope - but sometimes you're over my head. I mean G.A.M is esoteric for sure, but if you just listen - like Common says "One Day It'll All Make Sense".

Aight...he got me on this one

Maybe its Lupe. Maybe its the ultra simplistic, 8-bit music board/ samba-esque piano keys. Or maybe...just maybe its actually Pharrell's skill on this one. I wouldn't know I haven't seen it in a while. For some reason its been a while since I was genuinely impressed by "skateboard P"...like before he started calling himself that. But I did like that "Baby" track...actually both when he did it and Spec Boogie/Donwill ripped it. And "Mr. Me Too" was actually aight, Popular Thug... ok so Imma might have to give this whole "In My Mind" thing a new listen - or maybe I won't and Pharrell is just more adept at making beats for others than he is himself. Gotta think on this...
